Kurssprache Deutsch (!English speaking participants welcome! )This course is designed to introduce you to the world and wisdom of sound therapy and sound medicine on a scientific, practical and spiritual level. A 20 h certification program held by Sound Medicine Institute Teacher Verena Magdalena. Science meets spirituality in this course & you will learn how to work with & embody the work with Sound in an authentic way. The course covers topics such as: * What is Sound Therapy and Sound Healing? What is the difference? * What are Crystal Singing Bowls (possibility to play beautiful AKASHA Bowls) & how do they work? * How to care for your instruments * How to meditate with sound & develop a daily routine * How chakras and sounds are related * How the glands in the body & sound are related * The power of intentions & how to use them * How to use the voice in your sound meditations * Get to know a range of instruments (mainly crystal singing bowls, but also gongs, harmonium/shrutibox, tibetan bowls, drums etc.) and how to differentiate your sessions by combining instruments & sounds with guided self-reflection and meditations SCIENCE & SPIRITUALITY * Why sound has been used for thousands of years & why it is so powerful * How sounds affect the body, mind and soul * Brainwave states & the science of listening * The nervous system & how sounds affect it * The relationship of quantum physics, cells & emotions to each other * Physical, mental, spiritual & emotional effects of Sound Medicine * Discussion of research results PRACTICE * Playing Techniques * What are harmonic sounds? * How do I create a balancing & relaxing soundscape? * Exploring the voice through exercises * How to guide a sound healing session WHAT YOU GET IN THIS COURSE: * Education and guidance with all knowledge about sound healing * Manual with detailed information in EN & DE * Materials & resources * Sound Medicine Certificate (certified by the Sound Medicine Institute Germany) * Follow-up care for 4 weeks after completion WELCOME to the magnificent world of SOUND!
